John Sherman
John Sherman is a Maui-based author and behavioral health presenter with a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling and Addiction. He gave his first public presentation in Waikīkī in 2004, the same year he founded John Sherman Presents, Inc. — a Hawaiʻi S-corporation still in good standing today. For about four years, John worked as a real estate Broker/Owner while simultaneously developing Talk It Up Live It Up! and delivering motivational presentations through his company.
His background also includes five years at a substance use and mental health treatment facility, progressing from counselor to Executive Director, alongside volunteer work supporting individuals and professionals throughout his career.
Talk It Up Live It Up! (TIULIU) is the self-directed program John developed from that combined experience — built for individuals, treatment centers, and veterans alike. It requires no clinician, no appointment, and no complicated method: just your own voice, guided by a structure you control.
John is bilingual in English and Spanish, and lives in Kihei, Maui with his wife Iona.
